I am back from Singapore

Bus was punctual leaving from Pudu Raya bus Station at 12am.
Ha! Early morning of the Saturday had to start my journey to Singapore by this bus company, Transnational. I am not the easy - sleeping person, therefore, suffer whole night at the bus, because I couldn’t sleep well. At around 2.37am, bus stopped at a food court for a rest or supper. (Amazingly, only took 2hours 37 minutes to reach food court, which is located at Johor, I think the driver drive damn so fast!)

At 3am, bus engine started again and continue the journey. The bus took two more hours to reach to the Johor Bahru Immigration Officer to update the Passport Information. After 15 minutes, the bus is heading to Singapore. Around 5am, I queue up at the Singapore Immigration Officer to ‘Check In’ and luggage checking. Singapore, the first foreign country stamp at my new passport!

At 5.30am, bus stopped at Lavender Street Terminal Bus. Of course, this bus terminal located at the lavender Street. The street is very quiet, no one walking along the street except the passengers from the bus. KS and I started walking around in this city at this early cloudy morning.

First thing, look for a coffee shop, or food court to have breakfast. It is very hard to find a food court or coffee shop in this early morning. Their not yet start the business! Unless you are looking for the 7-11 or Cheers, these kind of 24 hours retail shop. Finally after a long walk (more than half and hours!), we manage to have our breakfast at a food court.

I had economic noodles plus a slice of ‘can meat’, it cost me one Singapore dollar S$1. It is very cheap if the S$ is RM, Malaysia dollar, but the fact is: it cost me RM2.25 when convert to RM. And my friend KS ate Nasi Lemak (Coconut flavoured rice dish) plus a small fish, cost S$1.70.

So finished our breakfast, we started to discuss which place to go! We asked the food stall’s boss about the direction of the nearest
MRT. So, walking again to find the MRT, around 15 minutes later, we reached a MRT Station called Bugis MRT Station. Here we are, start the MRT travel in this two days at Singapore.

These are our journey route map by using the MRT.
Bugis – Orchard: window shopping along the
Orchard Road.

Orchard – Little India:
Little India is the focal point of Singapore's Indian community.

Little India – Clarke Quay:
Clarke Quay is a place where you can Shop, eat and be entertained by the riverside.

Clarke Quay – Chinatown:
Chinatown, no need to say much, as the name already shown the meaning!

Chinatown –
RafflesPlace: I went to look for the NTUC building. Hehe, is the Concert venue.

Raffles Place – Bugis: I went back there and look for a shop name Muji and help Eugene to buy a note book from this shop!

Bugis – Aljunied: I felt very tired when I at this station, some more need to look for the hotel. We made an early reservation at FRAGRANCE - CRYSTAL at Lorong 18 Geylang.

Aljunied - Raffles Place: went for concert!

Raffles Place – Aljunied: coming to Hotel and rest. Finished first day trip at Sinapore!

Aljunied – Bugis: after check out from the hotel, still got time to have walk at Bugis

Till here no more MRT, but walk to lavender street Terminal bus to go back to Malaysia.

I guess, you will ask, did you have fun there?

Erm... … not really. I felt like in KL, cause the buildings, races of the people, language speaking, etc more or less same like KL. the big different were the Systematic of the public transport are very systematic and the cleanliness.

One of the most interesting was something about my surrounding of the hotel. After KS and I check in to the hotel, later YC and MY came to meet us. YC said, this lorong 18 is one of the HOTTEST place in the night! Yes, I experienced that when we walked back to the hotel after concert. You can see a lot girls started to promo their ‘business’ and a lot of foreign people were asking the ‘quotation’!

Haha!

KL Halo Café Is Closed Down!

I felt very sad when I received this news.

I sms LN and told her that she is performed very best at KL Halo Café. I concluded that after I’d watched her singing at The Curve Halo Café, Sunway Pyramid Halo Café and Subang Jaya Halo Café. By the way, Subang Jaya Halo Café also shut down at the month of May or June 2005, if I not mistaken. Later, LN replied to me saying that, she will no longer to singing at KL Branch because of the close down! I was so shock when I read the sms, it is 2 am in the early morning of Monday!

I love to listen LN singing at KL Halo Café. Besides on that, the environment playing a important role while she is singing at the café, so sad that I just realized it recently L. LN got a unique voice and good singing skill. Firstly I thought I can enjoy her performance whenever she is singing at whatever the branches. After all, I found that, only at KL branch, I can fully concentrate and enjoy her singing whole night!

If compared with other Halo Café Branch, the surrounding is much more quiet, the structure of the building not as large as other branch, don’t have a lot of table to fit a lot of customer and the waiters and waitress at the KL Halo Café branch are much more friendly.

Although all the branches using the same menu, but I found that the foods and drinks at the KL Halo Café is the best and the worst is at The Curve branch.

May be you will think that, “aiyo! You like the place so much and it is closed now. Sure you will say all the good thing about the café. ”I want to explained that, the conclusion that I’d made is after I paid the money to have a drinks (and food also) at the KL branch, South City Plaza, Subang Jaya, Sunway Pyramid and The curve Branch (these are the branches at the Klang Valley) through out these few months, from April 2005 till November 2005.

Sigh! Now comments so much also didn’t help the KL branch re-open again. First time in my life got such a ‘blue - feeling’ about a close down of a café. Now I know why the customers felt very sad and cried when the Pub No Black Tie is Shut down. For your information, No Black Tie is a pub which got band to play jazz music and it closed down somewhere in 2004.

I just found a place that can spend and enjoy a leisure moment, but now all gone!

p.s: The KL Halo Café is located at Jalan Polis, the beside of Old China Café, near the so called Chinatown Petaling Street. You can go to the below links to locate the place.

So long to my dear 1, dear 2, dear 3, …, dear ‘n’

So sad that I need to say bye bye to my dear 1, dear 2, dear 3, …, dear ‘n’ friends at the MSN Messenger.

To all my dear friends at MSN Messenger, I think we won’t meet at this moment during my working hours. You must be wondering why. The reason why is my pc can’t log in to MSN Messenger started from yesterday.

Due to company policy, certain departments are not allowed to install any of the messenger software. I know you will feel weird and some more will scream out ‘what the fuck!’ when you are reading this sentence. Yes! This is also my reaction after I heard this ‘@#*% policy’. I am no the top management, nothing I can do or comment about this policy.

Thanks God! In this world, it always got an alternative. I use e – messenger.net or msn2go.com or webmessenger.msn.com to log in the MSN Messenger, continue keep contact with my dearest friends.

I don’t know what happen, I couldn’t access e – messenger.net, msn2go.com and webmessenger.msn.com started from yesterday. The so called ‘expert’ at the I.T. Department said, probably is the server problem (not the company one), and he also confirmed that didn’t block any of the above website. Will you believe? Sorry I am 100% don’t believe. What’s in my thought was, the company’s server got problem again and the I. T. just ignore that and blame others server problem!

Nothing I can do, but only have to give a big hug and goodbye kisses to all my dear friends (girls only). I will not be around at the MSN for a long period (I guest) during my working hours!

My Friend’s Voice

I sit and wait beside the radio to listen my friend, LN singing. She is good in singing and lyrics writing. Her voice got it own magic and I very impressed on that. I always get ‘drunk’ while I am listening her singing.

First time I met LN’s voice was in a two hours ( 7p.m. - 9 p.m.) live performance at K. L. Halo Café on 25th July 2004, Sunday. She and a group of friends singing and playing their favourite singer, Cheer Chen Qi Zhen’s songs. At that time, I was sick and can’t concentrate at the whole event. (I also didn’t know LN at all.) Although I was in sick, but I still can notice that one of the singer’s voice attract me and I remember her name when her introduce herself. Yes, it’s LN.

Till April 2005, I met her voice again. Her friend shares her demo in the Internet, and I managed to download. After I listen those songs, I wish to listen her live performance.

A month later, KS and I sitting at the K. L. Halo café listening her singing (live). We get to know each other and started to chart at the ICQ. It can’t really say chatting, it’s more like leave an offline message to her, and then she replied an offline message to me. We seldom meet online. As time goes by, we chatted at MSN Messenger also.

I always say to her, ‘I am your fans’. But she said, ‘you are not my fans but friend!’ ^_^

It is hard to keep writing

I felt hard to write anything here at this blog. Nothing to write and I always asked myself, ‘what to write?’ as my life goes very normal.

Although I feel like that, but I will not give up so easy as the slogan from one of the car company advertisement said: 「Never Give Up」and I will 「Just Do It」 (I am very sure you know where this slogan come from)

Any suggestion about ‘what to write?’ , ‘anything to write’?
